If you’re working in the construction industry, you need to complete a general construction induction training course with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
This training will give you a basic knowledge of:
The unit you need to complete is: CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Once you’ve successfully completed this unit, we will issue you with your general construction induction training card (previously called a white card). You must keep this with you whenever you are on site.
1. Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work.
2. Identify construction hazards and risk control measures.
3. Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes.
4. Identify incident and emergency response procedures.
Must 13 years or older 100 points of ID. ID special exemptions may apply for children or first nations people. Please call us for information.

A Statement of Attainment and a general construction induction training card (previously called a white card) are issued on completion of the course.
